Its extremely Frustrating To Get The Right Help When Experiencing Chronic Pain.

http://bit.ly/dNHkVl   Anyone that suffers from chronic pain knows how frustrating it can be to find help that actually solves the problem.

Keep in mind that surgery is not necessarily the best option for most physical pain conditions. Also realize that physicians and surgeons are not the best resources when searching for alternative treatment to surgery. Most pain specialists got into their field because they felt that it is a good profession with solid income potential, and a job that may earn them respect among their peers. Most pain specialists did not choose their specialty area because they were suffering from chronic pain and after a twenty year search did they discover that this one technique was better than everything else. When seeking out your next pain specialist maybe this reasoning should be part of your interviewing process:

Have you ever suffered from chronic pain?

How long did you have the problem before it was resolved?

How many specialists did you go to before the problem was solved? What modalities did you try?

The Best Sleeping Position.

http://bit.ly/bKgmee  The best sleeping position for your neck, shoulders, and low back is to sleep on your back with your ankles and knees slightly elevated.

Most people sleep on their side. This strains the shoulder and neck, so people will wake up with upper body stiffness. Since the neck and the low back are on the same column, this will also affect the low back adversely.

Parkinson's And Dysphagia Treatment.

http://bit.ly/f2agTv  When a Parkinson's patient gets dysphagia, many people assume that this is an untreatable death sentance.

Dysphagia (trouble swallowing food) can be cured with Active Isolated Stretching.

Dysphagia is the result of upper body muscular rigidity in the neck, shoulders, upper arms, chest, and jaw muscles.

Active Isolated Stretching can open all the muscles that are causing dysphagia.

Scoliosis Treatment: There Is A Cure.

Some health professionals think that scoliosis cannot be corrected.

Scoliosis is treatable. Scoliosis can be cured.

Active Isolated Stretching treatment to the entire body is the first line of treatment. Get everything as even as possible.

Then the client must maintain the straight spine posture with strength training exercises that are meant to hold the spine in its proper place. http://bit.ly/aYxwwn

Alzheimer's and Parkinson's have a lot in common.

http://bit.ly/9Q9w2J  Both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's patients can benefit highly from improving circulation to the neck region. Both disorders involve muscular rigidity which leads to blockage of blood flow in the carotid artery. This process disrupts cognitive function and it is treatable with the right therapy.

Three "Must Address" Areas For Low Back Pain.

http://bit.ly/9H3nY5  There's over 18 muscles that need to be lengthened in chronic low back pain cases. But three muscles that cannot be ignored are the hamstrings, glutes (butt), and the psoas.

How To Make Stretching Work Better

http://bit.ly/bKPYjJ  To make stretching work, we must examine the automatic stretch reflex in our bodies. Any muscle stretch will contract against the pressure  if the hold is longer than two seconds. This means that when we hold a stretch for ten or thirty seconds, we are causing the target muscle to close down rather than open up.

Shoulder Pain? Don't sleep on your side.

http://bit.ly/bYRi7k  If you have shoulder pain, its not good to sleep on your side. This pushes the shoulder into the socket causing more inflexibility. Sleeping on the back is best for people with shoulder pain.

Hip Pain Causes: Large Lower Body Muscles & Hip Rotator Muscles.

http://www.resolveyourpain.com/blog/hip-pain-treatment-hip-rotators-the-deep-six-muscles/Hip pain is caused by tightness in a series of muscles in the lower body. The large muscles of the lower body include the quads, hamstrings, glutes, & I.T. band. Underneath these large muscles lies the hip rotator muscles, also known as the deep six. When the large lower body muscles are tight, they form a cast of tension around the hip rotators. The hip rotators connect the thigh bone to the hip socket. http://bit.ly/dSx0Ih

Six Tips For Reducing Back Pain.

Honolulu, Hawaii & Los Angeles — Six tips for decreasing pain & inflammation for low back pain:

1.  Drink fresh squeezed ginger juice (one or two ounces). This is the healthy equivalent of doing shots of whiskey. Be careful, its not easy to put it down. But within 10 seconds of downing it, you will feel better. It naturally decreases inflammation in your body.
2. Swim the backstroke. Backstroke will get your shoulders back. Getting the shoulders back will take pressure off the low back. Everything we do in life causes our shoulders to go forward - including freestyle swimming. This can add to low back pain by causing shoulders to lurch forward.
3. Sleep on your back. Avoid sleeping on your side or your stomach. Sleeping on your side will cause you to push your shoulder into the socket. Shoulder tightness affects neck mobility; and neck tension causes more stiffness in the low back. The neck and back are on the same column. One affects the other.  Sleeping on your back with your legs and ankles elevated is  best for posture. Put two pillows underneath each knee and ankle (the long way).
4. Take a bath with apple cider vinegar and epsom salt. One quart of each is probably enough for most people. When I did this (I no longer need it) I used one gallon of apple cider vinegar and at least two quarts of salt. Soak for thirty minutes with hot water. It gets your tub really clean too.
5. Walk barefoot on the beach. And rest on the beach with an organic material, like cotton or straw, underneath you. Most people are electron deprived, electrons are strongest where the sand meets the surf. Being recharged with electrons will decrease inflammation in your body.   When walking on the beach try to walk on the flat part to prevent an imbalance to your hips.
6. Get Active Isolated Stretching treatment. Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) from a trained therapist will manually pull apart the shortened muscles that are causing you back pain. AIS treatment will do more than reduce back pain, it will resolve back pain.
